Bible Proves God Doesn't Exist
When I was developing my research on where human ideas and information came from, one of the big questions I tackled was about the root or original idea of God's existence. Interestingly, the only physical source I could find on God's existence was the Bible, so I used this book to investigate whether God truly exists or not.
Here, I divided my research into four sections, each focusing on the four personalities of religion: Christ, the Bible, the Church, and God. The research was guided by a bunch of questions such as:
- How do we know if the Bible is from God or the devil?
- If God is perfect, are there errors in the Bible?
- Who is Christ, where did he come from, and what does he look like?
- What did the earliest churches worship?
- How was the concept of God formed; Who started it?
- If no one has seen God or Christ, whose pictures are on the altar that people pray to?
- If God is holy, good, perfect, wise, and powerful, why did he still need to create the devil?
Apart from these questions, there are even more questions that you can check out in episode #2.
In the first series, which consisted of almost 25 episodes, we presented various pieces of evidence proving why there is no God based on our studies on Christ, the Bible, the Church, and God himself. We used these four elements to investigate the various errors or mistakes in the bible which is believed to be holy, flawless, and made by a God who is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omnibenevolent. By finding errors or contradictions in the Bible—believed to be perfect and divinely inspired—we can say that God, who should be infallible, is negating himself, hence proving he doesn't exist.
a) The first pieces of evidence we gathered were from the Personification of Jesus Christ:
We found that the name "Jesus Christ" is not a name but a title. Jesus is not a first name and Christ is not a last name. The title is just a description (adjective) and not a noun. He is not referred to as the messiah in the Old Testament. He is not the son of God. He is not white or American, but Arab. No one knows about his appearance, but in the altars of believers, there is a picture of him that they pray to and worship. We also showed his rudeness to his parents and other people.
The story of his birth, ministry, death, and resurrection is similar to the legends from other ancient cultures, such as Horus in Egyptian mythology and Mithras in Persian, suggesting that the persona of Christ was borrowed or copied from pagan myths.
b) The second pieces of evidence were from the errors in the Bible:
We proved that the Bible is riddled with many errors, contradictions, and implausible stories. We also stated that if God is perfect, such mistakes should not exist. If it was guided by the Holy Spirit, the Bible should be sacred and without any errors.
We also showed the periods before the New Testament was printed and added to the Old Testament. The people who added to its doctrines and what was added to the Bible. The different versions of the Bible, each with their own interpretations. And the question of, if God is powerful, why didn't he make just one version of the Bible that people all over the world can understand despite different languages.
The stories in the Bible also have similarities with other ancient cultures, such as the great flood, genesis or creation, the tower of Babel, the story of Moses, virgin birth, and resurrection, suggesting that they were copied from pagan myths.
c) The third pieces of evidence were from the Role of the Church:
We proved that the Churches of the past and present often shape their own doctrines and rituals based on the decisions of their leaders. The changing beliefs from then to now often happen in response to changes in society, politics, and culture, which can be seen as evidence of human influence on the Bible and not God’s.
The divisions and reformations in the churches of the past, such as the Catholic Church splitting into (Roman, Orthodox, Coptic, Syriac, and Greek Catholic Churches) and Islam (Sunni and Shia) and Judaism (Orthodox, Conservative, Reform) prove that the churches of the past are strong evidence and witnesses to why the doctrines of God are not divine, but man-made, and their traditions and rituals have similarities from other ancient pagan practices.
d) The last pieces of evidence were the Characteristics of God:
Apart from the evidence we mentioned against Jesus, the Bible, and the church, we can now say that the concept of God is similar to gods from various ancient pagan cultures like Zeus, Odin, and Ra, suggesting it wasn’t unique.
In addition to this evidence, the existence of evil and suffering in the world is not consistent with a God who is kind, all-knowing, omnipotent, and omnipresent.
If God is all-knowing, he should forsee all the evil and suffering that is happening and will happen. If he is kind, he should know that what he is doing is wrong. And if he is powerful, he should be able to stop these. But we can see that evil and human suffering still continue.
But because humans have free will, evil and suffering were created by him. However, free will is not an adequate explanation because humans suffer from illness or natural disasters that are not the result of free will.
Additionally, the idea or concept of God has similarities from various ancient pagan cultures, such as Zeus (Greek), Odin (Norse), Ra (Egyptian), Jupiter (Roman), Indra (Hindu), Anu (Sumerian), Dagda (Celtic) which proves that the concept of God also originated from pagan mythology.
From this evidence based on the four important elements of religion: Jesus, the Bible, the church, and God himself, it proves that there is no God. We have proven that if God is perfect, then the Bible and his creations should not have a single error or defect. If he is good, no human should suffer in the world, and he would not have killed billions of people, babies, the elderly, animals, and plants from then until now. And if he is powerful, all this evil should not have happened.
In the second stage of this podcast, we will discuss the arguments and counterarguments thought out deeply by intelligent people in science and philosophy, both in the past and present, that will prove whether there is a God or not. Questions like, if there is no God, why is the movement of the world and nature perfect? If there is no God, how was everything created? If there is no God, how did everything start?
I will also include the arguments I discovered in my experiments proving why there is no God.
And in the third stage of this podcast, I will share with you the results of my personal experiments revealing why there is no God.
