Jesus Christ is not in the Bible : Episode 10

Episode 10:

In this episode, we’ll discuss whether Jesus Christ is mentioned in the Bible or if another Messiah is truly present. We’ll also explore whether ‘Jesus Christ’ is the name of an individual, whether ‘Jesus’ is a first name, and whether ‘Christ’ is a last name.

Many people believe that the name ‘Jesus Christ’ appears in the Bible, but this is not accurate.

Firstly, the term ‘Jesus Christ’ is not a name.

Secondly, ‘Jesus’ is not a first name, and ‘Christ’ is not a last name for the Messiah.

Thirdly, the word ‘Jesus’ does not exist in the Hebrew vocabulary.

Fourthly, the Hebrew alphabet lacks the letter ‘J.’

Fifthly, the name given by God the Father to the Messiah is Emmanuel, not Jesus.

If these revelations are true, who is the true Christ that Catholics and Christians pray to?

In ancient Hebrew culture, forming a name involved adding a descriptor or characteristic to a person’s first name. This descriptor helped distinguish their name from others who shared the same first name.

For example, imagine three individuals named Pedro. How would you differentiate them? To solve this problem, people would add a descriptor related to their parentage or a unique trait after their first name.

If Pedro was the son of a carpenter, his name might be “Pedro, son of the carpenter.” If Pedro’s mother was a laundress, he could be called “Pedro, son of the laundress.” Alternatively, if Pedro had a disability, he might be known as “Pedro the blind” or “Pedro the lame.” This system was used worldwide in ancient times and continues to some extent today.

In the distant past, people didn’t have fixed names. They borrowed names from their surroundings. For instance, Native Americans often took names inspired by nature, such as White Sun, Little Wolf, Falling Rain, or Lord of the Wind. Over time, this practice evolved into more sophisticated naming conventions.

In the Philippines, our ancestors also used this descriptive adjective system. Even today, in certain provinces, you can still hear names like “Kuba, son of the laundress from the riverside,” “Juang the folk healer,” “Mariang unfortunate,” “Rahah Soliman of Palawan,” or “Datu Puti of the Visayas.” These names demonstrate that ancient names were composed of labels rather than surnames.

Now, where did the word Jesus and Christ come from?

The Bible was originally written in Hebrew, which means that all its verses were not translated into English but rather preserved in Hebrew. In the Hebrew alphabet, the letter “J” does not exist. Consequently, the true phonetic equivalent of the name “Jesus” in Hebrew is “Yehoshua” or “Joshua” in English.

If you study the history of Hebrew or Aramaic, you won’t find the name “Jesus” in any ancient texts, including the Old Testament. This absence indicates that the name “Jesus” did not exist in their everyday vocabulary.

For instance, if there were a word for “Jesus” back then, his name might have been “Yoshua, the son of the carpenter” or “Yoshua, son of the Virgin Mary.”

Therefore, the name “Jesus” is not found in the Old Testament.

Where did the word Christ originate?

Many followers of Yehoshua (Jesus) believed he was God’s messenger or “the Messiah.” In Hebrew, the term for “Messiah” is “Moschiach.”

If we translate “Jesus the Messiah” into Hebrew, his name becomes “Yehoshua Moschiach.”

One word that referred to Yehoshua was “anointed.” Sometimes, people called him “Joshua the anointed.” During that time, those who were anointed were referred to as “Khristos.” This led to the name “Joshua the anointed” being translated as “Jesus the Christ.”

Thus, the name “Jesu Kristo” or “Jesus Christ” emerged from this process

If you’re praying tonight, make sure you are praying to the right person, “Yehoshua Moschiach”, instead of the fake name “Jesus Christ.”

That's why your prayers haven’t been answered since then, because you have been praying to the wrong messiah, lol!

And here’s an amusing twist: An angel told the Virgin Mary that she should name her child “Emmanuel", greek meaning "God(El) is with us(Immanu). But she didn’t listen! So instead of people praying to Emmanuoel or Yehoshua Moschiach, their prayers are redirected to Jesus Christ…lol.

In summary, all our discussions from previous episodes, we’ve proven that god does not exist because of the following concrete evidence :

  1. The history of the Bible and its contents (as seen in episode #4).
  2. The history of churches and their founders (covered in episode #5).
  3. The Catholic doctrine versus Judaism (explored in #6, #7, and #8).
  4. The various errors, inconsitencies, and falsehoods in the Bible (discussed in episode #9).
  5. The term “Jesu Kristo” is not in the Bible.

In our next episode, let’s delve into whether Jesus Christ is truly the first Messiah
